WorkMeter is a web-based productivity software that automatically collects information on how employee spend their online work hours. Individuals get insight into their own work habits and can self-manage to make positive changes. Managers get visibility of critical team productivity factors like activity, performance, concentration and distraction. WorkMeter is a time management productivity software that enhances individual and overall team productivity. The interface is extremely user-friendly, and users can filter to view exactly the information they need to see.
Productivity map and application usage
To configure a Productivity Map, the administrator simply creates a list of applications considered to be productivity enhancing or counterproductive for each department. Employees can enter WorkMeter and suggest applications not on the list that they think will enhance their productivity so Maps are always evolving and changes are automatically updated.

The Applications panel contains a variety of charts that give managers a graphical view of application usage and time dedicated to productive or unproductive activities. Information about time spent in nonproductive applications can be hidden to uphold employee privacy.
As in all WorkMeter panels, a detailed visual summary of use rounds out the Applications panel, making full use of the productivity software's potential.
Activity graphs and summaries
WorkMeter delivers clear, comprehensive activity summaries and colorful graphics for easy understanding of overall productivity levels.

The Activity panel displays activity by day or hour for employees or groups of employees.
* The activity data visible to the manager in this panel is identical to the data the employee sees when in the WorkMeter environment. The panel shows the active time logged by the employee and makes it easy to compare individual activity with group productivity and with overall organizational objectives.
* If a group is selected, the data shown will be the average activity measured for the entire group.
A full summary rounds out the panel.
Productivity reporting
Once the productivity map has been configured, WorkMeter immediately begins to generate activity data. The productivity report compares employee time spent on applications considered productive for their department against time spent on applications that are considered to interfere with productivity.

Productivity can be reviewed on an individual or group level. The data displayed for individual employees is visible to all employees that are assigned to the same group. A Productivity vs. Activity graphic is displayed, as well as charts showing time spent on productive and counterproductive applications. Individual employees can also compare their own charts with the group average, and view objectives set by the organization. The panel also displays a full graphical summary.
Departmental management
Highly customizable, the productivity software, WorkMeter, allows you to groups employees by department or other criteria. This makes for easy configuration of Productivity Maps and enables clear visibility of team activity.
Each department can set an expected activity level expressed in hours/days and an expected productivity level expressed as a percentage. Minimum thresholds for activity and productivity can be displayed in charts for daily review.
Project management
Employee activity data can also be seen for specific projects. Just set up projects in WorkMeter and assign them to specific employees. Teams enter WorkMeter and view projects assigned to them for a particular day. This allows the productivity software to bypass obstacles such as cross-company teams or interdepartment projects.
To view activity and productivity per project, managers just filter by project and then use buttons on the project charts to see if individual time invested in the project has been used in apps that enhance or hinder productivity.
Another chart displays multiple projects and chart information can be easily reordered for fast viewing of what's important.
Minute-by-minute activity data
Minute-by-minute activity data appears in the Schedule panel, which indicates detailed activity across a time period, marked by start and finish times. All data can be easily filtered by date, employee or group.

The Schedule chart represents each employee's daily schedule. An orange bar represents activity, and breaks in activity are shaded gray.
A summary gives full details on panel data. It gives a breakdown by day and by employee and shows activity start and end times, activity time range, productive times and more.
