What's WorkMeter?

WorkMeter is a software platform that will allow you to understand and manage the activity and productivity of your employees and the applications usage. With a simple installation and no infrastructure needs, WorkMeter collects the applications usage information to determine whether people are or are not focused in their work, their level of burden or effort. This information is consolidated and presented to the manager and the employees, creating an atmosphere of objectivity and guiding the approach to performance, creating a global benefit

What benefits will I get using WorkMeter?

Using WorkMeter, you will be able to make decisions based on metrics and, therefore, objective decisions. Your employees will be much more aware of their activity and productivity and their performance will increase substantially; but the best part is that this increase will be reflected in your metrics!

Can WorkMeter measure real productivity?

Yes, but only from recorded activity, that could not represent the total activity of the employee. From the real activity reported and the productivity map configured by the customer, we can measure the real productivity of the registered PC activity

What is the Productivity Map?

It's a list of applications considered productive by the administrator and assigned to a certain group of employees. We can configure different maps depending on the profiles of the employees. Also, each application of the productivity map will have a productivity level

Productive time control

What about employees privacy?

WorkMeter does not collect the content of the mails, or chats. Workmeter respects the privacy of individuals. It collects only the level of activity by application or website to determine users activity, but in any case the information or content of the applications is recorded. In addition, WorkMeter allows personal spaces of time where the activity recording is stopped. Schedules and times are defined by the managers, so the employee has now officially their private space, but with an order, and limited in time

What is the recomeneded methology to implement WorkMeter?

The recommended method is:

  1. Deployment: first of all we recommend to install WorkMeter at the employees computers. Just a few minutes after the installation, the administrator will be able to check the activity of the employees
  2. Productivity Map creation: depending on the activity reporting, the administratot should create the productivity map for the different profiles or for the whole Company
  3. Measure: after the previous step, a measure of the activity and productivity should be checked during, at least, one week
  4. Anounce: the last step is to communicate to the employees that the Company is using WorkMeter to measure the activity and productivity. From this point, the productivity will increase, but this process should be recurrent, improving the map and checking productivity decreases

WorkMeter Quality process

What infrastructure needs WorkMeter?

Nothing! WorkMeter is a SaaS platform (software as a service). You don't need servers, firwalls, backups, IT costs ... It can be installed in few minutes and works transparently without interfering in your activities or infrastructure. Ask for a test without commitment, and you can modernize your company and have metrics in minutes.

I don't want to audit my staff!

Some entrepreneurs and managers who raised the same issue today are using WorkMeter and their employees are happier! They are managing their time better, and they have the certainty that their efforts will be reflected in the metrics. Moreover, WorkMeter allows the administrator to define time periods in which their employees can use computers for personal use anonymously. Ban or block may not be the best option: it is better to manage and modulate personal spaces.
